Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders

Striding into the realm of college football with an illustrious history as an Pro Football Hall of Fame career, icon, and a multifaceted media personality, Deion "Prime Time" Sanders has redefined coaching, seamlessly transitioning his electric personality into an exemplary leadership and transformative winning model at the University of Colorado (CU). As the only player in sports history to play in a Super Bowl and World Series, his athletic prowess has been transformed into an elite-level coach, mentorship, and vision, affectionately now known as “Coach Prime.”

Coach Prime has engineered a resurgence in CU’s football program and strategically catapulted it into a marketing and media marvel. Since his arrival, CU had a historic sell-out of season tickets, astronomical surge in online team sales, a surge in athletic donations, increase social media following by millions, and has been drawing in unprecedented viewership numbers with games on Fox's Big Noon Kickoff and ESPN's College GameDay to broadcast live, underscoring the “Prime Effect” that revitalizes every dimension it touches.

Prior to his time in Boulder, Coach Prime led Jackson State University to dual SWAC Championships and secured consecutive SWAC Coach of the Year honors from 2020-2022, ending his tenure with a 2022 regular season and a stellar 27-6 record. Sanders was also honored as the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year in 2021.

Coach Prime is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a two-time Super Bowl Champion, and eight-time Pro Bowler. He played 14 years in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders, and Baltimore Raves. As a professional baseball player, he played for the New York Yankees, Atlanta Braces, Cincinnati Reds, and San Francisco Giants. He is the only person in professional sports history to play in the World Series and the Super Bowl.

Coach Prime recently appeared on the cover of TIME as the first ever black head coach in the magazines one hundred year history. Additionally, he has appeared on shows such as 60 Minutes, Lip Sync Battle, SNL, Celebrity Family Feud, Running Wild with Bear Grylls, Tiny House Nation, Undercover Boss, 30 For 30: Deion’s Double Play, and Deion’s Family Playbook.

Seamlessly transitioned from an NFL luminary and two-time Super Bowl Champion to an influential college football architect, Coach Prime’s influence is being felt off the field in the media as well. While being managed by SMAC Entertainment, he carved out a niche as a sports analyst with CBS SPORTS and NFL NETWORK. In addition, Sanders is executive producing and appearing in the upcoming second season of “Coach Prime” on Prime Video.
